David Bigelow was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in Mt. Morris, Michigan, the oldest of four children. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking and drawing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. David's works are etchings and drawings. His wife, Marcia, applies the watercolor when necessary. He looks for the profound in the mundane and the obscure in the obvious. Humor is an important means to the end of communicating truth.
